Speakers
Laura Cozens
Laura is a registered mental health nurse with over 20 years of experience working in high secure and forensic services with West London NHS Trust. During her time at West London as senior clinical manager, she led the implementation of LIO Health contactless patient monitoring platform, successfully developing new ways of working to support staff and patients to make the most of technology.
She joined LIO Health as Head of Patient Safety and Quality in 2022, where she has played a pivotal role in developing, alongside NHS partners, best practice guidance to support effective implementation of LIO Health. Dean Bilton
Dean has over 22 years of experience in clinical, managerial, and operational mental health, including Acute, Chronic, Neuropsychiatry, D&A, Community, Forensics, and Indigenous services. He’s been involved in over 20 major infrastructure projects in NSW and QLD, including the $700m Statewide Mental Health Infrastructure Program. He has reviewed MoC across numerous settings, as well as written the NSW Adult Inpatient and Community MoC templates. He also assisted the development of NSW Mental Health Design Principles, was a Representative for the AusHFG, and has lectured at tertiary institutions. Dean specialises in change management, co-design, clinical redesign, and stakeholder engagement.
